Having been finally registered as an NGO in October, FOYA Cyprus is now moving forward with its establishment. The first order of business is to recruit members and host the 1st Annual General Meeting, which will be held at the Mesa Geitonia Cultural Centre on Monday, February 6th, 2012 at 19:00. (Click here to view a map) The AGM will see the election of the President and Administrative Council. All members who have paid their membership dues are free to participate, run for council and vote.

While the exact date and time for the AGM has yet to be set, we would like to encourage all interested persons to come forward and register as members. Registration of new members is open at all times during the year, however, the majority of our members register prior to the commencement of our AGM.

If you would like to register in advance, you can download a copy of our registration from our website and either scan and e-mail it to us, post it to us, or bring it in person to the AGM. The Membership Form can be downloaded here

In order to qualify as a member and have the right to participate in meetings, all members must have paid their registration fee and any other owed dues. The fee for membership is 20EUR, payable yearly.

The membership fee can be paid prior to the AGM online through PayPal, by cheque made out to FOYA Cyprus or cash in person at the AGM.

ELECTIONS

Any individual can run as a candidate for the FOYA Cyprus administrative council. The council includes the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and 3 normal members. Nominations can be made ahead of time by filling in the nomination form and returning it to the FOYA Cyprus secretary at secretary@foyacyprus.com or they can be made in person during the AGM. Any individual can nominate themselves for any position and must have the written support of at least one other member. Naturally, an individual cannot stand as a candidate if their membership dues have not been paid.

1η Ετήσια Γενική Συνέλευση

 

Το Οκτώβριο, η αίτηση του FOYA Cyprus επιτέλους εγκρίθηκε από το Υπουργείο Εσωτερικό. Ο πρώτος στόχος του FOYA Cyprus είναι να γίνει η 1η Ετήσια Γενική Συνέλευση, το ποιο θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Δευτέρα, 6 Φεβρουαρίου 2012 και ώρα 1900 στο πολιτιστικών κέντρο Μέσα Γειτονιάς. (Πατήστε εδώ για να δείτε το χάρτη) Στην Ετήσια Γενική Συνέλευση θα γίνουν εκλογές για Πρόεδρου, Αντιπρόεδρο, Γραμματέα, Ταμία και Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο. Όλοι οι μέλη που έχουν καταβάλει την ετήσια συνδρομή έχουν το δικαίωμα να συμμετάσχουν στην συνέλευση, να υποβάλουν υποψηφιότητα για το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο, και βεβαίως να ψηφήσουν σε όλα τα θέματα της συνέλευσης.

Επίσης, θέλουμε να καλέσουμε τους ενδιαφερόμενους να υποβάλουν την αίτηση τους για εγγραφή μέλους. Η εγγραφή μέλους είναι ανοιχτό ανά πάσα στιγμή κατά τη διάρκεια του χρόνου, αλλά οι περισσότερη προτιμούν να κάνουν την εγγραφή τους στην έναρξη της Ετησίας Γενικής Συνέλευσης.

Αν επιθυμείτε να κάνετε την εγγραφεί σας πριν από την συνέλευση, μπορείτε να κατεβάσετε το έντυπο εγγραφής εδώ και να μας το επιστρέψετε μέσο e-mail (info@foyacyprus.com) η μπορείτε να μας το ταχυδρομήσετε. Επίσης, ο κάθε μέλος πρέπει να καταβάλει την ετήσια συνδρομή, το οποίο είναι €20.
Η συνδρομή μπορεί να καταβληθεί πριν από την έναρξη της Ετήσιας Γενικής Συνέλευσης με μετρητά ή/και επιταγή στο όνομα FOYA Cyprus. Επίσης, η πληρωμή γίνεται στο διαδίκτυο μέσο του PayPal.

Η ημερήσια διάταξη της Ετήσιας Γενικής Συνέλευσης θα ανακοινωθεί εδώ μόλις είναι έτοιμο.

 

ΕΚΛΟΓΕΣ

Κάθε μέλος μπορεί να βάλει υποψηφιότητα για το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο. Το συμβούλιο περιλαμβάνει τον Πρόεδρο, αντιπρόεδρο, Γραμματέα, Ταμία και 3 κανονικές μέλους. Η υποβολή υποψηφιότητα μπορεί να γίνει και πριν την Ετήσια Γενική Συνέλευση, συμπληρώνοντας το Έντυπο Υποψηφιότητα. Το έντυπο μπορεί να επιστρεφθεί στο γραμματέα μέσο e-mail (secretary@foyacyprus.com) ή ταχυδρομικά, ή προσωπικά στην Ετήσια Γενική Συνέλευση. Κάθε μέλος μπορεί να ορίσουν τον εαυτόν τους για οιοδήποτε θέση στο Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο, και πρέπει να έχει τη γραπτή στήριξη τουλάχιστον ένα άλλου μέλος. Φυσικά, κάποιος δεν μπορεί να υποβάλει υποψηφιότητα, εφόσον δεν έχει καταβάλει τα €20 για συνδρομή μέλους.
